ABOUT JUVEDERM
Most fillers are a gelatinous substance called hyluronic acid which is a naturally occurring substance that are injected into the body’s soft tissue at different depths to restore volume.
- Juvéderm XC and Vollure correct moderate to severe wrinkles and lines on the face, like parentheses lines and other wrinkles around the mouth and nose. The results usually last for about one year.
- Juvéderm Ultra XC and Volbella add shape to the upper lip, lower lip, or both while correcting the appearance of fine, vertical lines on the lips. The results usually can be seen for up to one year.
- Juvéderm Voluma augments the contour of the cheeks to treat flatness in the mid-face.
On average, Juvéderm injections only take about 15 – 30 minutes, depending on which areas are being corrected. Your face will be cleaned and injection spots will be selected. To reduce discomfort during the procedure, Juvéderm dermal fillers contain a local anesthetic. After your treatment, you are allowed to go back to your daily routine, but strenuous activity, including exercise, should be avoided for at least 24 hours. You should be careful to not touch your face after your treatment to avoid massaging the filler into other areas.
You typically experience a noticeable improvement immediately after your Juvéderm procedure, but you may also develop mild swelling or bruising in the treated areas for approximately 7 – 10 days. The results of Juvéderm dermal fillers usually are visible for up to one year; some patients find that their improvements last longer after multiple years of treatments.
There are no special preparations you need to make before your treatment appointment.
Pain is quite minimal as each injection is administered through tiny needles. We apply ice and numbing cream before the treatment to help reduce discomfort. All of the fillers are mixed with lidocaine to also help reduce discomfort.

Love this little spot. I went in for my first facial with Danielle and she was very professional. She talked her way through it, as needed, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process. After my facial, my face felt so refreshed and hydrated. I have dry/sensitive skin and I love that all the products she used were non-invasive. Oh, and a big bonus is the wine bar downstairs :)I would definitely recommend this place!!
