ABOUT BOTOX FOR MEN
BOTOX® A.K.A “Brotox” is a neuromodulator, and it prevents nerve signals from reaching muscles from contracting. This prevents the creation or worsening of fine lines and wrinkles. This is why BOTOX® is effective for dynamic lines and wrinkles, which are lines and wrinkles formed as a result of natural facial movements and expressions.
At Modern Man Aesthetics, BOTOX injectable treatments are performed as an outpatient procedure. In many cases, we perform the injection within the same appointment as your first consultation with our nurse or Dr. Millar M.D.
To identify the areas where injections should be administered, you will be asked to make various facial expressions such as frowning and squinting prior to the treatment.
The skin will be cleansed thoroughly. A fine needle will be used to inject the BOTOX. Our doctors will apply cold compress to help reduce pain, bruising, and swelling.
Our Botox injections usually take as little as 10 – 15 minutes. There is minimal recovery required and most of our patients are able to resume their normal activities right away.
Typically, the effects of Botox last for up to three to four months. Therefore, the recommended treatment is once every three to four months. Nonetheless, if your facial muscles begin to train themselves to contract less, the period of time for each treatment may be extended longer than three or four months.
There are no preparations you need to make before your appointment.
There is very little pain with BOTOX, as the needles we use are very fine.

Love this little spot. I went in for my first facial with Danielle and she was very professional. She talked her way through it, as needed, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the process.
